Job: Senior System Engineer - Place: Warszawa

We require:

• University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
• Practical experience in IT – at least 5 years
• Knowledge of Unix and Windows Server Operating Systems
• Good knowledge of ETL solutions, especially Ab Initio
• Good knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS), including Teradata and Oracle database
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Experience in project or team coordination
• Good communication skills
• Teamwork and ability to work in multicultural environment
• Willingness to work on shifts and in on-call mode

Successful candidate will work in a team providing application maintenance services for an international customer in telecommunication sector. Job responsibilities will cover technical support for two BI/DW applications, incident and problem resolution, development of bug fixes as well as implementation of required application changes and new releases. This role will also include acting as the technical subject matter expert for the support team and ownership of knowledge management process.
