Position Overview:
Reporting to the Manager, Recruitment, this Recruitment Consultant will prime our TELUS Retail Stores recruiting in eastern Canada. This opportunity calls for proactive talent sourcing, ability to manage high volume requirements, and the ability to work closely with the business by providing strategic consultative support, and delivering on our key recruitment initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required Knowledge:
* Knowledge of the end-to-end recruiting process
* Knowledge of the telecommunications employment labor market an asset
Required Skills & Abilities:
* Proven ability to target, recruit, and identify specific candidates for assigned recruitment initiatives
* Ability to execute a national recruitment strategy
* Ability to find creative ways to source candidates, including using internet, e.Recruitment tools plus direct recruitment strategies
* Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills; professional telephone presence
* Demonstrated interpersonal, consultative and negotiating skills
* Superior time management and organizational skills
* Ability to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
* Creative, self-starter, inquisitive, and intuitive
* High energy, enthusiastic, resourceful and results driven
* Collaborative team orientation
* Excellent customer service skills
* Bilingual language skills (French/English)
Required Professional Designation/Certification:
* Post secondary education (an emphasis in Human Resources is preferred)
* CHRM/CHRP or equivalent designation an asset
Required Experience:
* Minimum 3 years experience recruiting in a large corporate setting of 5000+ employees
* Experience using a variety of assessment tools; experience developing assessment materials
* Excellent PC skills and experienced in internet recruiting/mining
